Marsala – Pantone’s 2015 Color of the year

After several years of releasing their color of the Year, Pantone has chosen Marsala for 2015. I am so in love with Pantone’s new color of the year, or at least the several variations of it. I’m not a lover of the color red but there is something about the warm muted tone that has me intrigued. Maybe it’s the fact that it is one of my high school’s colors and it has already grown on me. The best I can describe it as, is a take on any of the following colors, ox blood, deep red, wine, Boudreaux, Cabernet, cranberry, burgundy, maroon or maybe even a red-plum.

What I love about it is that it is also a color that is and can be used anywhere from events to clothing to home furnishings. It is a very transitional color as you see above and pairs well with brass, gold and silver, which I feel is hard for several colors to do. I posted a somewhat fashion & event related post on my business’ page, which you can check out HERE! So of course, I had to create something for the interior design lover in me. 🙂

Live and Love in positivity,
