My apologies as Thoughtful Thursday did not post correctly last Thursday. Here you go…
It’s Thoughtful Thursday and today is Thursday, April 16, the 18th Thursday of 2015. I am unsure of the author of today’s quote but it certainly sounds like sound advice from someone who understood the trials of others.
This particular quote made me think about a short discussion I had with a blogger friend, Curvylou, regarding a previous Thoughtful Thursday post about our flaws. This post is dedicated to her. 🙂
We ALL have stories to tell. Life is not an easy thing to navigate and at times we can really hit some lows. But I am here to tell you that your story, whatever it may be, is your testimony for yourself and to inspire others. A lot of times, going through something is the only way to learn better and to do better but often times people can learn from our mistakes as well. We can not and will not grow as human beings without either learning first hand or through the experiences of others. Never feel ashamed of how far you have come or are still going in your life. You can be an inspiration to someone who may be in the midst of going through the same thing as you and knowing that you may still struggle but have won your battles may help them make better decisions.
So never be ashamed of your story and certainly never be ashamed to tell it, you never know who may need to hear it.
Live and Love in positivity,

Awww, thank you so much, Creative Gem! This dedication brought tears to my eyes. It’s been cathartic reliving those early memories of this alcoholic getting sober, but as you know, I was hesitant to post such intimate and personal stories.Thank you for validating, again, my choice to post my Letters to Asher series.
